Job Description

A distinguished Emirati family is seeking an accomplished and highly organized House Manager to oversee the daily operation and long-term management of two prestigious private residences: the family’s primary home in Ajman and a secondary farm estate in Umm Al Quwain.

This senior-level position requires an experienced private household professional capable of managing staff, coordinating property operations, maintaining exceptional service standards, and ensuring both residences function seamlessly at all times.

The successful candidate will act as the central point of coordination for all household activities, delivering a refined, efficient, and well-structured environment for the family and their guests.

Responsibilities

Estate & Property Management

  • Oversee the daily running of both private residences.
  • Ensure all indoor and outdoor areas remain impeccably maintained and guest-ready.
  • Conduct regular inspections and proactively address operational issues.
  • Implement systems and procedures to maintain the highest standards of organization and efficiency.

Household Team Leadership

  • Lead, supervise, and support a team of approximately ten household employees.
  • Organize staff schedules, rotations, and daily assignments.
  • Monitor performance, presentation, and adherence to household standards.
  • Provide training, guidance, and regular team briefings to maintain service excellence.

Inventory & Procurement

  • Manage inventories for household supplies, food and beverage stock, linens, cleaning products, kitchen equipment, pet supplies, and agricultural resources.
  • Implement inventory control procedures and oversee replenishment schedules.
  • Coordinate purchasing while maintaining budget awareness and operational efficiency.

Housekeeping & Laundry Oversight

  • Supervise all housekeeping operations across both properties.
  • Ensure bedrooms, reception rooms, kitchens, bathrooms, and staff areas are maintained to luxury hospitality standards.
  • Monitor laundry services, including care of linens, uniforms, bedding, and household textiles.
  • Maintain impeccable levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.

Culinary & Kitchen Coordination

  • Work closely with household chefs regarding menu planning and purchasing.
  • Monitor food storage, hygiene practices, and stock management.
  • Support efficient kitchen operations while minimizing waste and controlling costs.

Facilities & Maintenance Management

  • Coordinate preventive maintenance programs and repair projects.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure all technical systems and facilities operate efficiently.
  • Oversee the upkeep of recreational amenities, including swimming pools, fitness facilities, cinema room, tennis courts, and outdoor leisure areas.

Vehicle & Transportation Management

  • Supervise household drivers and coordinate transportation requirements.
  • Monitor vehicle servicing, registrations, insurance, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure all vehicles remain clean, fully operational, and available when required.

Guest Services & Events

  • Prepare both residences for family visits, VIP guests, and private events.
  • Coordinate catering, housekeeping, logistics, and event support.
  • Ensure guest accommodation and entertainment spaces are prepared to the highest standards.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain organized records of budgets, inventories, contracts, maintenance schedules, and household documentation.
  • Prepare regular operational reports for the principal.
  • Manage warranties, service agreements, and household manuals.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience managing a luxury private residence, estate, or UHNW household.
  • Proven leadership experience overseeing multidisciplinary household teams.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills.
  • Experience with budgeting, procurement, facilities management, and inventory control.
  • Comfortable managing multiple properties simultaneously.
  • Professional, discreet, trustworthy, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to uphold exceptional standards of service and presentation.
  • Open to candidates of all nationalities.

Working Conditions

  • Location: Ajman, UAE, with regular travel to Umm Al Quwain.
  • Position Type: Full-time, long-term.
  • Accommodation: Private studio accommodation provided outside the family villa.
  • Schedule: Six working days per week.
  • Working Hours: Approximately 9 hours per day, with flexibility required according to family needs.
  • Availability required for special events, holidays, and emergency situations.
