We are seeking a highly organized and experienced House Manager in London, the UK, to work full-time for our repeat client, an internationally based family with four young children. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain a well-organized environment while ensuring tasks are efficiently executed.
The residence is approximately 3500-3700 square feet. The family recently relocated to London and spends approximately 50% of their time in this property.
This is a full-time permanent role starting as soon as possible.
Tasks and responsibilities of the position:
– Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residence, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
– Create and enforce processes and routines to maintain a well-organized environment.
– Supervise a small team of staff, including a chef, housekeeper, traveling housekeeper, a houseman, and two nannies.
– Delegate tasks and responsibilities, ensuring each team member understands their role and performs effectively.
– Coordinate and manage maintenance and repairs, liaising with contractors as needed.
– Ensure the property is well-maintained and in excellent condition.
– Report to the Chief of Staff/Director of Residences, providing updates on household operations and any relevant issues.
Profile of the candidate sought:
– Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within high-end residences or households.
– Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities.
– Strong leadership and communication skills for effectively supervising staff.
– Knowledge of household processes and maintenance procedures.
– Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
– London based (the position is live-out).
Conditions of employment:
– Schedule: 5 days a week from 8 am to 5 pm; flexibility is required, especially when the client is in residence.
– Permanent Full-time
