Job Description

A friendly and professional family of three—two adults and a 2-year-old toddler—is looking for a highly skilled Live-Out Housekeeper to take full responsibility for the care and upkeep of their 6-bedroom home. They seek someone who is meticulous, efficient, and self-directed, with a genuine pride in maintaining a beautifully organized and spotless home.

If you enjoy working independently, managing your tasks with precision, and creating a warm and orderly environment, this long-term role offers a welcoming and stable household setting.

Responsibilities

Handle detailed cleaning of a large home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, and shared living spaces.
Ensure the kitchen remains spotless—cleaning appliances, counters, and maintaining pantry organization.
Perform full laundry and linen care: washing, ironing, folding, and regularly changing bed linens.
Organize closets, storage areas, and household items to maintain order and functionality.
Monitor household supplies and notify the principals when items need replenishing.
Maintain an elevated level of cleanliness and tidiness throughout each shift.

Job Requirements

At least 3+ years of housekeeping experience in private homes or high-end residences.
Strong references demonstrating reliability, discretion, and high-quality work.
Ability to pass a full background check before starting the role.
Capable of working independently with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a home with a toddler (no childcare duties required).

Working Conditions

Location: Englewood Cliffs, NJ

Schedule:

Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 10:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Salary

$30–$45 per hour, depending on experience
