Job Description

Our client, a professional office based in Paris 75008, is seeking a Multi-Purpose Assistant to oversee front desk reception and ensure the smooth daily running of the premises.

This flexible freelance role (20 hours/week) requires a reliable, organized, and service-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic business environment.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Prepare and organize the meeting room before appointments and board sessions.
  • Manage incoming calls, screen requests, and redirect inquiries efficiently.
  • Handle small office purchases (beverages, stationery, supplies, etc.).
  • Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper stock management.
  • Keep the workspace tidy, functional, and presentable at all times.
  • Receive and distribute parcels and deliveries.
  • Coordinate with the employer on daily administrative needs (agendas, schedules, follow-ups).
  • Support with ad hoc tasks and ensure overall operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar administrative or office support role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and professional discretion.
  • Proficient in basic computer tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  • Fluent in French; English proficiency is a plus.
  • Trustworthy, service-minded, and capable of working autonomously.

Working Conditions

  • Position: Multi-Purpose Assistant
  • Location: Paris 8th, France
  • Contract: Freelance (service-based agreement)
  • Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week – around 2.5 days per week (to be defined)
  • Start Date: Immediate

Salary

Between €35–€40 gross/hour, depending on experience
