A distinguished Ultra-High-Net-Worth private family is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to take full responsibility for the oversight, organisation, and presentation of multiple high-end residences located in New York City and New Jersey.

This is a senior, hands-on leadership role suited to a career professional with a deep understanding of luxury private households, staff management, and the standards required at the UHNW level.

The Executive Housekeeper will oversee all housekeeping operations across the family’s properties, ensuring each residence is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times.
You will manage teams, systems, and procedures, while acting as a trusted point of reference for household organisation, discretion, and service excellence.

This role requires confidence, precision, and the ability to lead calmly in a demanding, refined environment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and supervise all housekeeping operations across multiple private residences.
  • Set, implement, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation, and presentation.
  • Recruit, train, manage, and motivate housekeeping staff and external vendors.
  • Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, protocols, checklists, and household systems.
  • Oversee the care of fine furnishings, luxury surfaces, artwork, and valuable interiors.
  • Manage laundry and wardrobe operations, including delicate fabrics and fine garments.
  • Prepare residences for principals, guests, and formal entertaining.
  • Monitor inventories and coordinate closely with estate or household management.
  • Uphold absolute discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times.

Job Requirements

  • Extensive experience within UHNW or high-profile private households.
  • Proven background in an Executive Housekeeper or senior housekeeping leadership role.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Polished, composed, and service-oriented professional demeanour.
  • Flexible and willing to travel between NYC and New Jersey residences.
  • Excellent long-term references confirming reliability, discretion, and performance.
