Job Description

A discreet and highly private UHNW family with residences in Brentwood, Los Angeles and along the coast is seeking an accomplished Estate Manager to oversee the seamless operation of both properties. Returning from Europe shortly, the family requires an organized, detail-driven professional who can balance hands-on management with high-level oversight.

This is a live-out role that demands flexibility, polished presentation, and proven experience running luxury estates. The ideal candidate will ensure staff, vendors, and systems function flawlessly while maintaining the highest standards of discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the daily operations of the Brentwood estate and manage upkeep of the beach residence.

  • Supervise, train, and schedule household staff, ensuring excellence in service delivery.

  • Oversee relationships with vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance.

  • Organize and support private events, dinners, and gatherings with professionalism and precision.

  • Ensure all home systems, including automation, lighting, and pool facilities, are functioning at peak performance.

  • Conduct regular inspections to guarantee properties remain in immaculate condition.

  • Maintain open but confidential communication as the primary liaison for household matters.

  • Provide on-call support for evenings, weekends, and family travel requirements.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience as an Estate Manager within UHNW or luxury households.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to recruit, train, and oversee staff.

  • Knowledgeable in estate operations, vendor management, and property technology systems.

  • Highly organized, solution-oriented, and able to handle multiple priorities.

  • Professional, discreet, and trustworthy with a strong service mindset.

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and have personal transportation.

  • Willing to sign and uphold a strict NDA.

Working Conditions

  • Contract: Full-Time, Permanent, Live-Out

  • Schedule: 6 days per week, flexibility required when the family is in residence

  • Start Date: Immediate
