We are currently in search of an experienced live-in Couple for one of our High Net Worth (HNW) clients, who resides in a spacious estate located in the picturesque countryside of Beaconsfield. This dynamic duo will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the residence.
Our client, who frequently travels, is in need of adaptable and trustworthy individuals who can maintain a discreet and dependable presence to ensure the seamless operation of their household.
The successful couple should possess a hands-on attitude and be willing to assist in various areas, including animal care. They should also be diligent, flexible, and ready to grow within their roles.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
We are seeking an ideal couple who embody the following qualities:
- Pleasant, friendly, and amiable personalities.
- Proficiency in the English language for both individuals.
- Energetic and proactive with a can-do attitude, emphasizing a hands-on approach.
- Competence in IT and technical matters.
- Capable of handling minor handyman tasks and overseeing local tradespeople.
- Supervision of our full-time gardener and other contracted workers.
- Skill in handling projects and management matters.
- Prior experience in similar domestic roles.
- Competent in housekeeping, shopping, and laundry duties.
- Strong culinary skills, including the ability to host occasional dinner parties.
- A keen focus on security and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to care for animals, including alpacas, two donkeys, two dogs, and a cat.
- Confidence in driving vehicles such as Rolls Royce and Range Rover in London and its surrounding areas.
- Willingness to travel to Europe for potential villa holidays.
Profile Requirements:
Candidates should meet the following criteria:
- Previous experience in private household management is essential.
- A genuine love for the countryside.
- Proficiency in spoken English.
- Flexibility in work hours.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
- Valid passports.
- Checkable references from previous employers.
Job Conditions:
The couple will enjoy the following working conditions:
- A beautiful, private, detached two-bedroom cottage with a conservatory and its garden.
- Provision and use of a staff/company car.
- Working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a one-hour break, along with the ability to work flexible or alternative hours when necessary.
- 23 days of paid holiday per year, in addition to Bank Holidays.
- Regrettably, no pets or children are allowed on the premises.
Estate Manager Salary:
The annual salary for the couple will be in the range of £100,000 to £125,000, depending on their experience and suitability. This salary includes accommodation provided free of charge.
