Job Description

A private family with three children, located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, is seeking an experienced and versatile Housekeeper/Cook to manage daily household upkeep and prepare family meals.

This is a full-time permanent position (CDI), starting immediately, with working hours shared between two residences in Paris (75007 and 75016). The role is well suited to a reliable professional who enjoys combining household management with home-style cooking in a warm family setting.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily household maintenance, including cleaning, dusting, polishing, and general organization.
  • Manage all laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and proper storage.
  • Oversee household and food supplies, ensuring stocks are well maintained.
  • Handle grocery shopping and routine household errands.
  • Prepare balanced, varied meals suited to a family lifestyle.
  • Maintain a consistently high standard of presentation across both homes.
  • Manage occasional services such as dry cleaning, post office visits, florist, and pharmacy errands.
  • Track purchases and provide clear reporting to the employer.
  • Receive deliveries and parcels.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external service providers and contractors.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a private household.
  • Highly organized, autonomous, and adaptable.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and service.
  • Genuine interest in cooking and meal preparation.
  • Comfortable working in a family-oriented environment.
  • Flexible and available as needed.
  • Absolute discretion and respect for confidentiality.
  • Fluent French is required.

Working Conditions

  • Position: Versatile Housekeeper/Cook
  • Location: Paris 75016 & Paris 75007
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract: Permanent (CDI), 35 hours per week across two residences
  • Working Hours: To be agreed

Salary

€2,950 to €3,200 gross per month, depending on experience
