We are looking for a Caretaker Couple for our client’s secondary residence. The couple will be responsible for property surveillance as well as ensuring proper maintenance of the villa’s interior and exterior.
The position is a full-time permanent role that needs to be filled quickly. It includes on-site accommodation in a fully renovated independent house.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Cleaning and tidying up the villa
Household tasks (dusting, floors, etc.)
Laundry care and ironing
Running errands and various purchases
Meal preparation (simple balanced family cooking)
Casual service
Property monitoring and security
Alarm management
Swimming pool maintenance
Maintenance of the 2,000 sqm garden (mowing, pruning, cleaning, etc.)
DIY and repairs
Management and supervision of external service providers
Driving responsibilities
Regular reporting to the employer
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
Couple seeking long-term employment
Trustworthy, honest, and discreet individuals
Handyman skills
Knowledge of gardening
Good interpersonal skills and communication abilities
Enjoy cooking
Love for animals
Proficiency in both French and English
Driving license required for the couple

Position Title: Caretaker Couple

Work Location: In Doubs (25), between Besançon and Mulhouse
Employment Contract: Permanent full-time / 2 days off per week (Monday and Tuesday)
On-site accommodation: A freshly renovated independent house on the property, 3 bedrooms, 2 floors, suitable for candidates without pets.
