Job Description

A VIP Emirati principal based on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced, discreet and exceptionally well-organised Private Butler to provide dedicated personal service within a prestigious private residence.

The position will work closely with the principal and has a particular emphasis on wardrobe and personal belongings management. The successful candidate will take responsibility for maintaining an impeccably organised wardrobe and closet, coordinating laundry, preparing luggage for travel and ensuring the principal’s personal areas are consistently neat and well presented.

This role would suit a highly attentive individual who takes pride in organisation and presentation and is comfortable working closely with a VIP principal. The ability to anticipate requirements, follow instructions accurately and handle personal belongings with the utmost care and discretion is essential.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive, discreet and personalised Butler service directly to the principal.
Take full responsibility for the organisation and day-to-day upkeep of the principal’s wardrobe and closet.
Arrange clothing, accessories and personal belongings logically according to category, frequency of use and the principal’s preferences.
Ensure wardrobe and closet areas remain immaculate, orderly and easy to navigate.
Coordinate laundry services, including collections, deliveries and communication with external providers.
Carefully prepare, pack and unpack luggage for business and personal travel.
Select and organise clothing and personal items according to the principal’s itinerary and requirements.
Handle all personal belongings with exceptional care and attention.
Keep the principal’s personal office or workspace organised and presentable.
Restore and reorganise the desk and workspace following use when required.
Respond efficiently and courteously to requests from the principal.
Anticipate the principal’s needs and proactively address routine requirements.
Undertake additional personal service duties as reasonably requested.
Maintain absolute discretion concerning the principal, household and personal affairs.
Uphold consistently high standards of personal presentation, service and professionalism.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Private Butler, Personal Butler or comparable private service professional.
Demonstrable expertise in wardrobe management and closet organisation is essential.
Excellent organisational abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
Practical experience with packing and unpacking luggage for private clients.
Familiarity with professional laundry coordination and clothing care.
Highly discreet, trustworthy and respectful of personal privacy.
Polished appearance and excellent professional manners.
Good spoken English and the ability to understand and accurately follow instructions.
Arabic language skills are advantageous but not essential.
Able to work independently, take initiative and manage responsibilities without constant supervision.
Comfortable providing one-to-one service to a VIP or HNW/UHNW principal.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and personal requirements.
Previous experience within a private household, VIP residence or HNW/UHNW environment is highly desirable.

Working Conditions

Position: Private Butler
Location: Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE
Schedule: Full-time, 6 days per week
Days Off: 1 day per week
Working Hours: Flexible, according to the principal’s schedule
Accommodation: Live-in accommodation provided within the villa; room arrangements to be confirmed
Start Date: ASAP
Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will attend an in-person interview followed by a one-day trial with the client
