Job Description

A UHNW Principal based primarily in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is seeking an exceptional Butler / House Manager to deliver world-class personal service while overseeing the daily operations of a prestigious residential portfolio.

Operating within a structured Family Office environment, this role requires an individual of outstanding calibre, capable of balancing refined white-glove service with full household and estate management responsibilities. Absolute discretion, impeccable presentation, and the ability to manage complex, multi-property operations are essential.

Responsibilities

Butler & Principal Support

  • Deliver elite white-glove service aligned with the highest international UHNW standards.
  • Structure, monitor, and manage the Principal’s daily routines and schedules.
  • Anticipate needs intuitively and adapt to preferences, moods, and lifestyle rhythms.
  • Maintain direct, efficient communication with the Principal across all channels.
  • Represent the household with impeccable personal presentation at all times (formal business attire required).
  • Accurately document all personal service and operational details.

Property & Household Management

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple luxury residences.
  • Ensure properties are maintained to immaculate presentation and operational standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage household teams, including the creation and implementation of SOPs.
  • Coordinate and supervise contractors, vendors, and specialist service providers.
  • Manage sensitive matters, including cash handling and office-related logistics.

Wardrobe & Personal Asset Oversight

  • Manage the Principal’s full wardrobe, including packing, unpacking, and travel preparation.
  • Plan seasonal wardrobe rotations in coordination with specialist advisors.
  • Safeguard valuables, luxury items, and personal assets.

Lifestyle, Events & Hospitality

  • Plan and execute private and high-profile events to the highest standards.
  • Coordinate staffing, service flow, and guest experience during events.
  • Work extended hours when required for events and special occasions.
  • Support fitness-focused and dietary lifestyles (Private Chef in place).
  • Capture key moments through photography when appropriate.
  • Support select travel, charters, vacations, and attendance at major international events
    (e.g. Formula 1, film festivals, Royal Ascot).

Organisation & Family Office Coordination

  • Manage the Principal’s personal affairs in close collaboration with the PA and EA.
  • Maintain precise records, inventories, and documentation.
  • Support the recruitment of additional household staff as required.
  • Ensure smooth communication and alignment within the Family Office structure.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience supporting UHNW individuals or families.
  • Formal butler training from elite academies or royal households.
  • Strong international exposure, with experience across Europe, the US, and the GCC.
  • Advanced knowledge of fine wine collections, including cellar management, storage, inventory, service standards, and liaison with sommeliers and merchants.
  • Proven experience managing art collections, including handling protocols, condition monitoring, display standards, and coordination with curators, conservators, and insurers.
  • WSET certification highly desirable.
  • European passport preferred.
  • Fluent English required; additional European languages considered a strong advantage.

Salary

AED 45,000 – 55,000 per month (DOE)
