Job Description

A distinguished family in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled and professional Governess to support the education, daily care, and personal development of their 7-year-old son.

The family is looking for a candidate who can combine firm structure and discipline with a warm, encouraging, and nurturing approach. The child is energetic, athletic, and passionate about basketball and football, and the Governess will play a key role in fostering both his academic progress and his physical confidence.

Responsibilities

Provide attentive daily supervision, guidance, and care for a 7-year-old boy.
Establish a structured routine and reinforce discipline in a positive and supportive way.
Create, plan, and oversee educational and developmental activities tailored to his age and learning needs.
Encourage and participate in sports, especially basketball and football, to support his active lifestyle.
Assist with homework and academic development in collaboration with the parents.
Accompany the child to and from school with the assistance of the driver and bodyguard.
Ensure the child’s environment remains safe, clean, organized, and stimulating.
Maintain consistent communication with the parents regarding his progress, behavior, activities, and well-being.

Job Requirements

Solid background in childcare, education, or teaching.
Confident, disciplined, and professional attitude, balanced with patience, kindness, and emotional awareness.
Strong ability to implement routines and engaging learning activities.
Energetic, proactive, and enthusiastic about encouraging sports and physical development.
Excellent command of English.

Working Conditions

Full-time schedule with flexibility based on the family’s needs.
Daily collaboration with other household staff, including a driver and bodyguard.
Benefits: Accommodation and meals included.

Salary

25000 AED per month.
