Job Description

A friendly and easy-going family of four in Dubai is seeking a versatile, caring, and energetic Nanny & Housekeeper to join their household. The family has two young children, a four-month-old baby boy and a five-year-old girl, as well as a pet cat.

With the mother at home, the successful candidate will work alongside her to care for the children while taking responsibility for the daily upkeep of the family’s four-bedroom residence.

The family values a positive attitude, initiative, and a natural ability to anticipate needs. They are looking for someone who enjoys working with young children, takes pride in maintaining an organised home, and can contribute to a warm and harmonious family environment.

Responsibilities

Childcare and daily routines

Assist the mother with the care of both children, including feeding, nappy changes, bathing, and settling the baby for naps.
Engage the children in age-appropriate play, activities, and daily routines.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for the children.
Provide practical support throughout the day, adapting to the changing needs of the family.

Housekeeping and household support

Keep the four-bedroom home clean, tidy, and well organised.
Manage family laundry, including washing, folding, and ironing.
Prepare meals for the family, including suitable meals for the children.
Assist with everyday household tasks and take a proactive approach to maintaining the home.

Pet care

Help with the general care of the family cat and be comfortable living and working around pets.

Job Requirements

Previous experience in a combined nanny and housekeeping role, preferably with infants and young children.
Confident in supporting the care of a baby while assisting with an older child.
Energetic, cheerful, and approachable, with a positive attitude.
Well organised, reliable, and able to anticipate the family’s needs without constant supervision.
Comfortable undertaking both childcare and household duties.
Fluent in English.
Comfortable around cats and other household pets.
Available to commence employment by the end of November 2026.

Working Conditions

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Position: Full-time, live-out Nanny & Housekeeper
Schedule: Six days per week, 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Day off: Sunday
Rest breaks: Daily breaks provided
Visa: Employment visa provided by the family
Medical insurance: Provided by the family
Annual leave: 30 days of paid leave
Travel: Return ticket home provided
End-of-service benefits: Gratuity in accordance with applicable UAE employment law
Expected start: By the end of November 2026

Salary

From AED 5,000, depending on experience and suitability
