Leisure & Grounds Host job (M/F) in Nurai Island, Abu Dhabi, UAE

The private villa features extensive outdoor and leisure facilities, including:

• Swimming pool
• Spa facilities
• Water sports equipment
• Private beach areas
• Gazebos
• Outdoor games
• Fire pits
• Outdoor entertaining areas

The successful candidate will work closely with the wider household team and will move between guest service, leisure preparation, outdoor maintenance and practical hands-on duties.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Welcome family members and guests in a warm, polished and professional manner.
• Provide attentive and personalised assistance throughout their stay.
• Anticipate the needs of the family and guests and respond promptly to requests.
• Assist with luggage during arrivals and departures.
• Transport family members and guests between the port and villa using the property buggy.
• Ensure all outdoor areas and leisure facilities are fully prepared before the family’s arrival and maintained throughout their stay.

Leisure & Water Sports

• Prepare, organise and safely store water sports equipment.
• Set up equipment and assist guests with water sports activities.
• Ensure all leisure equipment is clean, organised and ready for use.
• Assist with the preparation and operation of spa facilities.
• Monitor the swimming pool temperature and maintain the surrounding pool area.
• Set up outdoor games and fire pits when required.
• Ensure all leisure facilities are presented to an exceptional standard.

Grounds & Beach Maintenance

• Maintain the property’s outdoor areas and grounds to a consistently high standard.
• Carry out basic gardening and general outdoor maintenance.
• Rake and clear the beach daily.
• Remove leaves, debris and other materials from outdoor areas.
• Clean and maintain gazebos and outdoor seating areas.
• Prepare sun loungers, umbrellas and towels for the family and guests.
• Cover or secure loungers and umbrellas during windy conditions or when not in use.
• Open and prepare outdoor areas each morning when the family or guests are in residence.
• Clean lounger cushions following use.
• Vacuum outdoor rugs each morning and after meals.

Outdoor Facilities & Equipment

• Assist with the upkeep of BBQ areas, ice machines, refrigerators and outdoor kitchen facilities.
• Ensure outdoor equipment is clean, functional and correctly stored.
• Regularly check outdoor facilities and report maintenance or safety issues promptly.
• Assist the wider household team with general outdoor and manual tasks when required.

A proactive approach is essential. The successful candidate should naturally notice what needs to be done and anticipate the requirements of the family and their guests.
