Overnight Care & Supervision

• Provide attentive overnight care while remaining available whenever assistance is required.
• Monitor the principal throughout the night to ensure her comfort, wellbeing, and personal safety.
• Assist with bedtime routines and respond promptly to any requests for support.
• Observe physical, emotional, and cognitive wellbeing, reporting any significant changes.

Emotional Support

• Offer a reassuring and calming presence during periods of anxiety, confusion, or restlessness.
• Help reduce emotional distress through patience, empathy, and appropriate reassurance techniques.
• Promote a peaceful environment that encourages restful sleep and confidence.
• Build a trusting relationship while respecting the principal’s dignity and independence.

Health Monitoring

• Record overnight observations and communicate relevant information during handovers.
• Report any concerns promptly to the family or daytime caregiver.
• Provide medication reminders in accordance with the family’s instructions.
• Monitor basic health indicators whenever required.

Companionship

• Develop a warm and supportive professional relationship with the principal.
• Engage in conversation and offer companionship whenever appropriate.
• Encourage independence while remaining attentive to changing needs.
• Adapt your communication style to suit the principal’s cognitive and emotional condition.

Travel Support

• Accompany the principal and her family on international trips when required.
• Ensure continuity of care while travelling.
• Help maintain familiar routines to provide reassurance in new environments.
