Job Description

An UHNW client is seeking an outstanding and highly polished Chief Stewardess to oversee luxury interior service and household operations across a portfolio of international private residences.

This unique land-based opportunity is perfectly suited to a candidate coming from the superyacht industry who is looking to transition into a prestigious private household environment while maintaining the same world-class service standards, precision, and operational excellence expected onboard elite yachts.

The position is highly hands-on and guest-facing, requiring exceptional attention to detail, refined hospitality skills, and the ability to deliver flawless five-star service whether working independently or alongside a wider household team.

Responsibilities

Luxury Interior Service & Residence Standards

  • Deliver impeccable five-star service across all residences and travel locations
  • Maintain exceptional housekeeping and presentation standards throughout each property
  • Develop and refine household procedures, service standards, and operational routines
  • Manage formal and informal dining service with precision and discretion
  • Assist with breakfast, light meal preparation, and service support when required
  • Oversee all interior housekeeping tasks including room preparation, laundry, linen care, and evening turndowns
  • Anticipate the Principals’ preferences and provide seamless personalised service
  • Manage inventories for linens, tableware, amenities, household supplies, and consumables
  • Coordinate closely with chefs and kitchen teams to ensure smooth dining experiences
  • Supervise floral styling, ambiance, and aesthetic presentation across all residences

Team Leadership & Staff Coordination

  • Lead, supervise, and organise interior household staff across multiple properties
  • Create a culture of professionalism, consistency, and service excellence
  • Conduct team briefings and maintain operational continuity between residences
  • Mentor and train junior staff members to maintain luxury hospitality standards
  • Organise staffing schedules and rotations based on the Principals’ travel calendar

Wardrobe & Personal Care Management

  • Oversee wardrobe organisation and garment management across all residences
  • Manage luxury laundry, pressing, dry cleaning, and fabric care
  • Coordinate packing, unpacking, and wardrobe transitions during international travel
  • Ensure personal belongings and accessories are stored and transported correctly
  • Source personal items and complete errands internationally when required

Residence Preparation & Logistics

  • Prepare residences in advance of the Principals’ arrival
  • Manage property setup and transitions during relocations and travel periods
  • Maintain continuity of service and household presentation across all homes
  • Oversee replenishment and procurement of household products and amenities

Events & Hospitality

  • Coordinate private dinners, entertaining, and household events
  • Manage front-of-house service for formal and informal gatherings
  • Liaise with caterers, suppliers, and external service providers
  • Ensure guests receive a polished, warm, and seamless hospitality experience

International Travel Support

  • Travel internationally alongside the Principals when required
  • Act as the lead interior professional across all destinations
  • Coordinate household logistics and personal organisation during travel periods
  • Oversee the transportation and organisation of personal and household belongings between residences

Coordination & Communication

  • Work closely with the Travelling Personal Assistant and wider household team
  • Serve as the primary contact for all interior and service-related matters
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and external providers internationally
  • Maintain professional communication across all departments and staff members

Job Requirements

  • Strong background within superyachts, luxury hospitality, or UHNW private residences
  • Natural understanding of refined five-star service standards
  • Exceptional eye for detail and presentation
  • Calm, discreet, and professional under pressure
  • Highly proactive with excellent anticipatory service skills
  • Flexible with travel, varied schedules, and on-call requirements
  • Strong leadership and staff management capabilities
  • Hands-on approach to housekeeping, service, and wardrobe care
  • Comfortable working independently or within a close-knit support team
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities

Working Conditions

  • Home base: Cairo with extensive international travel
  • Permanent full-time position
  • Six-month probation period
  • Flexible start date

€4,500 per month
