Job Description

A distinguished international family based in Bangalore is seeking an accomplished and professional Governess/Nanny to provide dedicated care and educational support for their 11-year-old twins.

This is an exceptional full-time live-in opportunity for a refined and experienced childcare professional who is confident supporting pre-teen children within a structured, international household environment.

The role combines academic guidance, personal development, and lifestyle support, while travelling with the family during school holidays.

Responsibilities

Educational & Academic Support

Assist the children with homework, school assignments, and educational development
Encourage intellectual curiosity and support academic progression through engaging learning activities
Help maintain consistent study routines and positive learning habits

Child Development & Daily Guidance

Organise stimulating activities suited to children entering their teenage years
Promote healthy lifestyles, including sports, outdoor activities, fitness, and wellbeing
Encourage independence, confidence, social etiquette, and respectful behaviour

Lifestyle & Family Support

Accompany the children to extracurricular activities, appointments, and outings
Travel internationally with the family during holidays and vacations
Create a calm, nurturing, and well-structured environment while maintaining professional boundaries

Job Requirements

Native-level English speaker essential
Western or European passport holder required
Relevant qualification in childcare, education, psychology, or a related field
Proven experience working with children aged 10–15 within private households or international families
Strong understanding of child development, physical activity, and emotional wellbeing
Well-presented, organised, and highly professional at all times
Able to combine warmth and kindness with structure and authority when required

Working Conditions

Location: Bangalore, India
Contract Type: Full-time, live-in
Schedule: 5 working days per week
Start Date: Immediate start preferred
