Job Description

An exceptional private residence of approximately 1,200 m², located in the heart of Saint-Tropez, is seeking an experienced bilingual French/English House Manager to oversee daily operations for a UHNW family, in line with international private service standards.

This is a key on-site role designed for a senior professional used to highly confidential environments, impeccable service levels, and hands-on operational management. The House Manager will ensure the smooth, discreet, and flawless running of the property, combining strong field presence with structured coordination and reporting.

The position is predominantly operational and field-based, with a lighter administrative component. Permanent, full-time position. Start date: February / March 2026.

Responsibilities

Operational & On-Site Management (≈ 70%)

  • Full responsibility for the daily running of the property, adopting a General Housekeeper approach.
  • Supervision, coordination, and scheduling of household staff, ensuring consistent service standards and routines.
  • Creation, implementation, and monitoring of detailed cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, deep cleaning).
  • Maintaining exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, order, and presentation throughout the residence.
  • Oversight of housekeeping, laundry, ironing, and coordination of external dry-cleaning services.
  • Organization and optimization of storage spaces, wardrobes, cupboards, and common areas.
  • Care, protection, and maintenance of valuable items, delicate materials, and sensitive surfaces.
  • Preparing the house for the arrival of owners and guests; ensuring the property is always guest-ready.
  • Delivery of a high-level concierge service (restaurants, transportation, wellness, personal services, contractors).
  • Discreet presence alongside the owners, ensuring comfort, privacy, and seamless service.

Administrative Coordination & Reporting (≈ 30%)

  • Acting as the weekly operational liaison with the family office.
  • Preparing structured weekly reports in French and English for the Senior Personal Assistant.
  • Overall administrative oversight of the property, including:
    • Invoice control and payment follow-up
    • Budget tracking and financial monitoring
  • Daily use of digital and collaborative tools (Outlook, shared calendars, Zoom, AI tools, expense and invoice management systems).
  • Coordination and quality control of external service providers and maintenance work.
  • Monitoring household purchasing and domestic supplies.
  • Strong ability to anticipate needs, set priorities, and manage multiple timelines efficiently.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within a UHNW household, exceptional private estate, or international luxury hospitality environment.
  • Fluent French and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Proven experience working closely with a Senior PA and family office teams, with structured reporting and proactive coordination.
  • Excellent leadership and team-management skills, with a strong operational mindset.
  • High level of comfort with digital tools, reporting systems, and financial tracking.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a constant focus on precision and service quality.
  • Able to work independently while leading teams with professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
  • Trustworthy, loyal, respectful, and discreet by nature.
  • Flexible, proactive, calm, and polished in all situations.
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality and professional ethics.
  • Valid driving licence and personal vehicle required.

Working Conditions

  • Location: Saint-Tropez, France
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time (working hours to be defined)
  • Accommodation: To be discussed
    • Live-out: candidate must reside very close to the property.
    • Live-in: independent accommodation provided on site.

Salary

From €60,000.00 gross per year
