A private family in Vienna, Virginia, is looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper/Cook to manage the daily operations of their household. This position is ideal for a service-focused professional who thrives in a refined home environment and takes pride in maintaining an impeccably organized and welcoming residence.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of exceptional housekeeping, laundry, and culinary skills, paired with a proactive, discreet, and dependable personality.

Responsibilities

Maintain the home to five-star standards, ensuring all rooms are spotless, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Perform full housekeeping duties: cleaning, making beds, laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care.
Conduct weekly deep cleaning and oversee the upkeep of all household spaces.
Prepare and cook nutritious meals for two adults, primarily low-sodium dishes (soups and stews are appreciated).
Manage kitchen and household inventories; restock and source quality products.
Handle grocery shopping and errands (Whole Foods, Fresh Market, pharmacy, etc.).
Coordinate with vendors and maintenance providers as needed.
Support household operations and assist with scheduling or service appointments.
Occasionally drive or arrange transportation (Uber) for the principals.

Job Requirements

3–5 years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar high-end household environment.
Proven ability to manage both cleaning and cooking responsibilities with precision.
Skilled in healthy, low-sodium cooking and meal planning.
Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Professional presentation, discretion, and integrity are essential.
Ability to anticipate needs and work independently.
Must have reliable personal transportation.
Flexible, adaptable, and committed to maintaining household harmony.

Working Conditions

Location: Vienna, Virginia, USA
Schedule: 32–35 hours per week (live-out position)
Benefits: Medical stipend provided
Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary

$85,000 gross salary
