Log inOur client, based in the charming city of Annecy (Haute-Savoie), is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nanny to care for two children, aged 7 and 3. This is a long-term permanent contract role, offering 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to travel with the family.
The ideal candidate will be warm, energetic, and highly organized, with a proven track record of supporting young children’s development in a private household. A strong sense of discretion, a proactive attitude, and the ability to engage children through creative, educational, and recreational activities are essential.
Collect children from school and ensure safe transport to activities.
Establish a consistent after-school routine (snack, homework support, bath, dinner, bedtime).
Design fun and educational activities tailored to the children’s interests.
Supervise swimming and ensure safety during pool use.
Promote positive habits, including good hygiene, manners, and respectful behavior.
Organize extracurricular schedules, outings, and family activities.
Maintain order in the children’s bedrooms, toys, and belongings.
Prepare nutritious evening meals for the children.
Assist with packing and preparation for family travel.
Provide occasional babysitting in the evenings as required.
Collaborate closely with parents to support family routines.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a nanny or in a similar childcare role.
Valid First Aid Certification (pediatric preferred).
Nurturing, reliable, and energetic personality.
Strong general culture and ability to stimulate curiosity in children.
Flexibility to accompany the family on trips.
High level of confidentiality and trustworthiness.
Fluent French; English is a plus.
Valid driver’s license required.
Confident swimmer.
Valid passport.
Contract Type: Permanent (CDI), 25 hours/week.
Schedule: Flexible hours; occasional Saturday afternoons (1–2 per month).
Trial Period: 1 month, renewable.
Accommodation: Non-residential (live-out position).
